Terms of Service

The service

Wayfaro builds personalized, day-by-day travel itineraries from the preferences you provide, with the help of AI and public information about destinations, venues, and events. Wayfaro is a planning tool — it is not a travel agency and does not sell or book flights, accommodation, tickets, or any other travel product.

Your account

Wayfaro has no traditional accounts. A random anonymous ID is created for your device when you first open the app; your trip credits and itineraries are linked to it. If you reinstall the app or change devices, you can restore your purchases through the App Store.

Trip credits and payment

• Wayfaro sells one-time, consumable trip credits, starting at $7.90 per trip, or $24.90 for a 5-trip pack. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
• 1 credit = 1 generated itinerary.
• A credit is only consumed when an itinerary is successfully delivered. If a generation run fails, the credit is automatically returned to your balance.
• All payments are processed by Apple as App Store in-app purchases. We never see your card details. Prices are shown in the App Store and may vary by country and currency.
• Beyond the automatic return of credits for failed runs, purchases are non-refundable, except through Apple's refund process or where applicable law requires otherwise.

Itineraries are a planning aid

Itineraries are generated with the help of AI and information gathered from the web. They are suggestions, not guarantees. Before and during your trip, you are responsible for:

• confirming opening hours, prices, availability, and any bookings or reservations;
• checking visa, entry, health, and safety requirements for your destination;
• verifying addresses and travel times;
• your own safety and travel decisions.

Information about venues, events, and destinations comes from third-party sources and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. We provide it without warranty of any kind.

Acceptable use

Use Wayfaro for personal, lawful trip planning. You agree not to abuse, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service, not to attempt unauthorized access to it, and not to resell access to it.

Intellectual property

The Wayfaro app, website, brand, and content belong to us. The itineraries generated for you are yours to use for your personal travel.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for anything that happens during your trip. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep any protections granted by the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
